²⁶ Just as it was ordered to leave the stump of the tree in the ground^[a] along with its roots, so your kingdom will be restored to you when you realize that Heaven rules over everything.^{[b] 27} Therefore, your majesty, may my advice be acceptable to you: Stop your sinning, do what’s right, and put a stop to your wickedness by showing kindness to the oppressed. Perhaps your tranquility will continue.”
